Those typical tv programs will be long gone very soon.
Even now most people just put their tv sets aside like a piece of decoration.

It's a new look!!!
How's everyone doing on the break?
I guess most of us must be thinking why our home tv service has been bundled for years but it seems like not many people complaining that.

I don't think there are other open options whenever you subscribe tv, internet and phone services in Canada. Probably some of you could remember that a few trial attempts launched by the U.S. phone carriers were eventually declined. There are not many competitions in this industry.
But what we have been seeing is the largest Canadian carriers boast their services in the market.

It depends on people's ages; there's no doubt most now use their smart phones, ipads and tablets for watching whatever they like on the Internet.

Honestly the only times I watch things on the tv are playoffs, long holidays or there are special events.
But sadly most of the shows are obsolete or poorly made. They lack the innovations of thinking of some other new ways/formulas.

Once all those tv, phone and internet are bundled up by the service providers, there's not much you could so anyway.
Sarcastically, our people and the government let this happen for years.
I still haven't figured out why the Canadians so afraid of having a few more service providers. Well telecommunication is a "sensitive industry" in a way, but we could set up some degree of restrictions for foreign owners though. Let's see the tv industry how are we doing exactly in terms of program quality, content...etc. Think about that.

I want to say that's half right, people spend less time on their tv but more on their phones and other devices.
Breaking up a bundle should have done earlier.
For most people we only watch basically 2-3 channels, other channels are paid without even watched. So isn't it really fair?

I'd like to say content does matter. Local productions however cant really give us what we really want to watch.
In this case most viewers just cut off any inadequate channels like those local ones but some may be keep the movie channels.
I do think that traditional tv programs will be gone really fast.

Once our online media isn't mature or hasn't even existed, not sure how the Canadian service providers deal with the shift.
Netflix still needs to keep up with the consumers' demand and favorites. TV programs will be gone soon, it's only a matter of time.

TV's pay-per-channel might be in the transition to another stage.
I agree with the ideas from Harris & Reeve, both having quality content and competitions is so important to making the industry to improve.
I only use the tv for watching sport games and some movies.
Soap opera is one of the dying tv programs.

I am definitely not interested in watching those tv shows anymore ....for a really long long time.
The first reason is the shows are dull , other one is time constraint.
If cutting off the bundle is an open option, why not do that then.

Only internet is needed for me.
I strongly agree that the telecommunication industry needs more competitions. There are only a few service providers, that makes no sense. The big ones can actually do anything they want on their customers like squeezing every last drop out of our pockets.

Once the tv service providers find no more gains from tv shows, whoever still subscribing tv programs will be seeing raises on their bills.
Certainly there will be more people having their tv cut off.

I'm having the summer class at the school.
Speaking of watching tv shows I haven't done it for a really long long...time.
My family's planning to drop the tv program packs.

I remember the last time when I watched the tv back to a few months ago.
I want to say a bit older people might bother to watch tv shows on a regular basis.
I also agree with most of you saying that our local tv programs lack content, so who would still want to pay those tv program packs.
Bundling those packs is another ridiculous thing that we have tolerated for years!!

TV for me as some of you saying that I would only watch a few games and 1 or 2 shows occasionally.
I don't watch movies on tv now or maybe for most of the time.
Time has changed as well as the people's habit has made some dramatic changes since last 10 or so years. Just like landline I doubt we would barely use it.
