How do we justify if - "A Calgary bus driver would quit his job if he were assigned to drive the rainbow Pride bus."?

To me it's hardly get people here in this province, Alberta know what that really means. Some still think they live in their 1900s : )

Just read the news, it is being heated up by the media and some..umm...narrow minded people.
To me it's just a bus with rainbow patterns wrapped around. It does have a symbolic meaning, but this also means peace.
What if I didn't like driving a bus with some kind of political campaign advertisement on it, could I do something else instead?

It's his choice but he needs to face the consequences himself.
I doubt that's something to do with religious beliefs.
That's just dim-witted.

I'd say if he knows what he's doing then don't expect people around like his co workers would do the same.
What I know from some people they do endorse the old way of thinking.

I guess no one really knows why he does that.
It's more complicated than it looks. Personal wish in the name of freedom of belief might prevail the employee protocols.

I did read a few comments on the news about this thing.
First of all I have no idea why some could even link it to the use of taxpayers money. This is rather something to do with someone orientation. I feel disgruntled to a few just make parodic rants about that, it's obnoxious and futile.

School days finally come

People right now like making a big fuss over little things.

The more we look closely at it, that person will get more media attention.
His argument makes no sense either. What if some other drivers don't like certain commercials on the buses they drive, wouldn't they have a break for that?
! I'm not sure why both media, and that guy plus his church make such a big deal out of that.

For what I know from most parents, they wouldn't talk about stuff like this with their kids that are even in high school. They might claim they don't mind their personal choice but the fact speaks for itself.

People nowadays like getting media attention.
If you could think carefully there's some kind of reverie of being famous hovering in the mind of those people.

He could have different thought with certain beliefs. That's the basics.
But when you talk about controversial things better think twice.

I somehow don't think the guy was speaking something what he believes is totally a personal thing. Once it goes to the public, it isn't anymore. People need to learn to be responsible for what you say and do. I am doubting his intention, it's just a bit malicious
by using the religion as an excuse after all.
