I have no idea why they so far can't really answer our conern over the economic downturn. All they have done is finger-pointing/ smearing each other on soical media/ tv commercial and repeatng their phrases over and over.

We rarely talk about politics in the family/ circle of friends.
But I think once a political party has had in power for 2 terms, it's way better to have another one to be in place.
Thats the basics of democracy.

From what I see and know as of today almost all people are apathetic to this election. My parents for example don't put a great hope on them.

Start seeing those campaign signs again, one screening other over and over.
Be honest none of them have clearly shown their political agendas.

Some people do want the PC get re-elected again. They more or less want no changes once being more advantageous than others.
The young voters are always the silent group.

Two more week and then......back to school
Always see all things about the election on headlines.
But what about younger people, it seems they rarely or never talk about that.

What I have known so far my family show no preference on all those candidates even getting lots of phone calls + door-to-door visits.

I think Tories have been getting rusty in some way. From I could remember correctly, what they have been doing now is just similar to what the old Liberals were like back to 10+ years ago.
Anyway politics is politics that's nothing sacred in it : )

The thing that annoys me the most is they call some number of times during the evenings. Not to mention their calls are gone in along with other unknown calls.

Back to school time is coming really soon
What we are seeing now is they scatter issues around, like senior benefits, women's rights, family's child care benefits...etc.
I agree some of you had said that they just can't focus on the main issues, want to please every voter. Well most people might buy that, I'd say the majority of them do like the sweet talk. That's another topic: the quality of our voters.

I agree the young voters are going to be quiet again.
A bit getting tired of knowing and hearing about the campaign.

From what I know and hear from the politcal parties so far, they are trying to please almost every single person in this country. Things like cutting tax, giving tax breaks, more senior and child care benefits...they all sound really good. It's too good to be true.
